I’ve found the finest way to keep the thermostat set in the 60’s during the winter is to allow the body to acclimate to the colder weather, day by day, during the Autumn.

With the low temperatures outside, even a low set thermostat kicks on the heat. You'll feel warm but you won’t be burning as much energy.
